We've heard it all before, water is needed for
good health. We all use water, we drink a few glasses a day maybe,
and take a shower or bath daily. The Sher System re-educates us
in understanding how important water is to our general wellbeing
and that of our skin. The Sher System uses water internally and
externally. Combined with The Sher System's products, lashings
of water are used to cleanse, protect and miraculously repair
and rebalance the skin.
Drinking Pure Water
The facts are that most people do not drink enough water.
The World Health Organisation recommends that
adults drink eight large glasses of water daily, but few people
actually do and many people consider drinking tea, coffee or alcohol
as part of their fluid intake (which do not hydrate, they dehydrate).
Many people do not recognise that they are dehydrated and as people
grow older, the symptoms become more difficult to identify. |

Some doctors and health gurus claim that not drinking enough
water causes many of society's most common serious ailments, such
as asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes and obesity. A dry or
discoloured tongue and darker than normal urine are signs that
you are dehydrated.
Each person loses six pints of water daily: a pint perspiring,
two in breathing out and three in urine. Water is essential for
the body to replace lost water, to cool and lubricate and to flush
out waste and toxins. |

Drinking water in the morning flushes out the
kidneys and regulates the bowels. Get into a habit of having a
litre of water (preferably purified).
An easy way to incorporate good drinking water habits –
have a glass of water as soon as you wake in the morning, always
have a glass of water ½ hour before each meal and one ½
hour after each meal. Drinking water with your meal dilutes the
digestive juices.
This method gives you a set time to drink your water –
one glass on waking, two with breakfast, two with lunch, two with
dinner – making 7 glasses a day. Perfect!
